Principles
Common optical fibers are made into optical fiber grating sensing probes through high-precision optical micro-processing. When the measured environment temperature changes, wavelength of the reflected light in the optical fiber will change correspondingly. Measuring the wavelength of the reflected light hence enables temperature measurement.
